Love the abstract comp & the lighting, but would like to see a "deeper" level of processing to bring out the inherent texture.

Good composition. The rule of straightness would have helped this. If the vertical line was more on the the thirds line it could be stronger. I would not have cared if you had not put that in your title. Now I expect it to really be on the thirds..... Nice job.

I have a similar shot called rivets, love industrial style shots, try diferent tones see what happens

Rule of thirds yes but this was a shadows challenge, still like your shadows 7/10.
