 Desaturated, Cropped, Levels, Curves, Brightness and contrast, sharpened and resized and sharpened again to taste. Also cropped out in levels trees that were out of focus and distracting.

Great composition and exposure. I like the unique vantage poiint you used for this shot. Makes the dog larger than life, fits the challenge well. - Super job! (dog part dobe?) - favorite DOG representation - 10

Beautiful dog from an unusual angle - such a shame there is no catchlight in the eye - put a white dot on in an editor and see how it lifts it (I know you cant do that for the competition entry). The one thing that appears to let it down is the cut-out (It appears to be cut-out, apologies if I am wrong). Fur - hair - feathers - trees are almost impossible to get to look convincing. Great dog though.

great angle! elevates it above the traditional.. "here is my doggie" photos. Great detail and textures. Nice work with the exposure to bring out the right tones.
