My daughter's dragon statue with color changing light built into the bottom. Used a flashlight on the face for about 1 second. Held a long butane fire starter behind the head with the flame on for about 1 second.

Wow this is a winner and a nice change from some of the images I have just seen
I know this is a special effect maybe a lighter flame but the lighting,d colours and simplicity( not a cluttered image) makes it a great image 8

Nice fire effect, but the dragon itself seems disjointed and you can't seem to tell which parts of the mythological creature you are looking at. Some fill lighting would be beneficial.

The right side of the picture is great, but I think you should have cropped off some of the left.

Great subject! I really like the flame coming from the mouth and the blue color on the underside of the dragon's neck. In my opinion, this image could be improved by cropping out all the magenta/green stuff in the left half of the image and going with a vertical format...head, neck and flame only.

Just my humble opinion of course, keep up the good work!

This is one fierce looking dragon. What is the apparent flame pouring out of its mouth???

Should this have been here or in "painted with light". Beautifully lit.
My one concern in the whole picture is the flame. It appears to be coming from the wrong place. I edited it out in photoshop and the dragon was strong enough to stand on its own merit. perhaps if the flame had been further away from the head?
Still excellent and meanacing.

Fire breathing effect scores extra points, especially set off against black background.

Love the colors and the way you've set this up with the flame. Very creative and nice!

Great vibrant colours and the flame is a great finishing touch

NIce idea but lacks a bit of detail - think it would be better to crop just the head out.

Wonderful use of light to make this unusual.

I love this. I wanted to do something similar for the painting with lights challenge. Really cool!
