Yes, the 'missing feet' bring down the overall impression of the image. I liked the expression on his face in this image though, and chose it despite the feet.

Baby shots can be rather cliche but this is really different and artfully done. I like the post editing. The tones are effortless. What I like most is that the adult hands, presumably the father, is wearing cuffs - all dressed, whereas the newborn is in his birthday suit, naked to the world. Nice juxtaposition. If I could change anything, I'd have the baby's feet visible as well. Nice job.
