Tonight I drove home from work in during a flash flood. The interstate was elevated so there wasn't water accumulating on the highway, but when I exited there were about two inches standing on the road. Luckily, it was all very level, no valleys to drive through.
I felt sorry for this motorcyclist, who was undoubtedly soaked to the bone. Lightning struck not too far away in front of us while we waited for the light to change.
Want to add: This was shot through my closed car window. The blurred spots are droplets on the window. It's a very long light at that exit! And the blue was a happy accident - I'd been shooting on an incandescent white balance the day before and I was working so quickly to just get the shot that I didn't take the time to change it.
