 July 30th:
I am stuck without a car for the next few days, so I decided to look around for a photo of something nearby, something I see everyday. I knew immediately of the one I wanted to take. This is the window in my room, and it looks out over trees & bushes, and I have always found it very peaceful. I love the soft curtains, and in the afternoon the sun shines in & I have to open the blinds. I hope to always have a soothing window like this in my home.

Love sheer curtains like this. Adds that soft romantic touch to a room. You did a nice job capturing the mood. The lighting thru the curtains is perfect!

Such a wonderful description transforms this photo from a 'mundane' image to something that the viewer cant help empathising with

Kelly, this is nice. You describe the scene as peaceful and you've caught that well, with the soft light and curtains. The only suggestion I'd make would be to try and rotate or straighten it so the window is perfectly balanced and straight. I think that symmetry would add even more to the sense of tranquility.

Very tranquil -- I can almost feel the breeze coming in the open window. I wonder how this would be in b&w.

I think this is one of my fav. images of yours. The border, the composition, the lighting, the soft PP, the hint of reflection of the window... very lovely. It makes me want to pull up a chair, and just read, or write... just be contemplative and introspective. Beautiful image, Kelly.
