 Well, not the best photo, but definitely a slice of life. This little guy, Samuel, is now 11 days old. He gets his nightly bath from Mom. He still is too young to smile or recognize faces. I like this image, because it gives a perspective of how little he is, in Mom's hands.

This is a very complimentary shot of your tiny baby! I really love the lighting on this shot; Samuel's skin tone looks great, and the catchlights in his eyes bring them alive and make him look quite alert for such a little one. I think it is a charming shot!

Those early days pass so quickly that it is great that you are recording it. I can pretty much guarantee that in a few years time you wont be thinking 'not the best photo but rather loving the fact that you have these physical manifestations of your wonderful memories

I think I am about to pass out from the CUTENESS. And the nostalgia. He looks very like my son did at the same age -- I guess all babies pretty much look like this, but still, what a wonderful image to evoke that indescribable stage of babyhood when they seem so fragile and so needy.

May not be a "prize winner" but I can assure you that in years to come, this will probably become one of your favorites. I still love looking at the early "snaps" of my kids.
