Nice idea and the DOF chosen has isolated the subjects nicely but still too many distractions in the foreground for me.

Nice capture - Like the expression - A tighter crop getting rid of the out of focus person would create more impact on the girl

Wow! Love the use shallow DOF here. The colors are terrific and really make your eye explore the shot. I like the sharpness you obtained in the main area of focus as it brings out a lot of subtle detail. The candid expressions of the people really works well.
