Hey I looked at this and thought that it'd be really cool if there was a tropical scene or mountain getaway shot in the rear view mirror.

This makes me smile, I does like reflections and this a nice example of its kind especially given that one car is reflected both in the wing mirror and also from the wing mirror into the window of your own car
They greyness of the reflection contrasts nicely with the brightness of the unreflected sky at the top of the frame

One thing for sure that I do not miss from the bigger city is the traffic! What I like about this shot is that the center focus is on the traffic behind you and then behind the rear view mirror is another car. It's really like two pics in one. |

But what I'd like to know, how fast was this pic taken at? Love the slight motion blur of the ground, you got some great dirt on the car to the left. Fun image! |

I love this shot - it gives a definite commuter feel. The colors - as they were - are awesome. |

Traffic is a drag. The only time I drive is when I rent a car. I think I'm a good driver (who doesn't?), but it is stressful -- especially coming back into the city.
Yes, there are other Austin people in this 50 day challenge -- that's how I learned about "Jo's". Be sure to check out the New York Times Frugal Traveler video profile on Austin. It's really fun.
What I like about this photo is how the sky is darker behind you than in front. It makes the photo seem menacing.

I can identify with this -- one of the reasons I hardly ever go anywhere. |

Nice in the moment shot. Thankfully I have a short commute and hardly hit traffic at all. |
