 Just before sunset I was on my couch ready to watch TV, when I suddenly remembered I hadn't taken a photo for today. This led to getting dressed again and taking a long walk over past the West Side Highway (where this "Hustler" club is) and to the river beyond.

As for the selected photo itself, I've overdone the vignette and laid the soft focus on pretty thick. Why not? :-)

PS: This joint is in my neighborhood, but it is not in my life!

The softness works well with the vibrant colors provided by the neon lights and the passing car tail lights. Interesting to see the bare unadorned wall towering behind the Roman pillared, neon trimmed club. Nice shot.

Whoo that is dedication. I would have said I was just skipping the day lol.

I like the soft focus. It adds a beautiful glow to the neon.

Top man Larry for actually getting dressed and going out to take a shot. I would have been tempted to fire off something from inside the house

Nice neons which are added to by the motion blur of the car, but which also look strangely out of place on a building that looks to have seen better days

I like the colors and blur. It's interesting how it's flashy in front and then the not-so-nice building in the rear.

You're quite dedicated to get dressed and take a long walk in the evening for this challenge. I think I'd photo.... I guess I'd photo. G. Brett, lol! Great colors, I love the softness and vignetting. The colors and motion are lovely additions.

I really like the neon mixed with the motion blur and the fact that most of the color is at the bottom of the shot. That large building behind the club intrigues me. It's bulk sort of puts the Hustler Club in perspective. Really nice shot.

Really great city shot. Love the glow of the lights. Looks almost like it has a mist around it.

Wow, looks like an interesting corner :) I really like all the neon lights paired with the lights of the passing cars, it works well that you took it as the sun was setting.
