Life, like many other phenomenon-s suffer from duality. Life is not always about movement. There are many such random moments, when it screeches to a halt and stands still. It transforms itself into a passive inert form, where the movements surpass the regular physical motion.

Deafening Stillness. Chaos inside.

First Impression - the most important one:
Hmm, I find the image very simple... yet hard to look away from! This picture has that something that makes me want to look just a little bit longer, to try and understand it.
Composition:
I love the tree's position but I think I would have placed the green, what Ill call, pea, a little more off center. I’m not sure how possible that would have been, but I think I may have cropped out a bit around the left wall and bottom of the picture.
Subject:
Simple, still, great. I like it.
Technical (Colour, focus, and light):
There is something about this picture that is just a little on the bland side, and I think that that would fall into this category. I like the focus and the lighting. However I think you should have put a bit more into the green. just to pump it up a little.
Artistic:
Very artistic, that’s for sure. definitely a great job on this side of things!
To grow its vote?:
sadly I'm not sure many people appreciate the subtle beauty in this picture. You can tell that by the 2's and 3's it received, (which is a real shame). My only suggestions are as follows, a bit tighter crop, and amp up the green just a pinch.
Summary:
I like it; it has room for improvement of course. I think a 5.8889 is a very fair score for the picture.

Wow very strong start for a first submission. I can’t wait to see the improvements, and more pictures to come. Just a side note your average vote cast is 4.4107, that a bit low, personally I try and keep it between 5.0-5.5. But anyways that just a side.

Happy shooting, CBoydrun

This is beautiful delicate composition, but I don't feel it has enough light, I would like the soo the fruit pop out a little more, with a little more life

Nice shot. I'd like to see it cropped in a 3:2 proportion.
