 Day 22, Floral

It's not a flower, of course. It's a leaf that regenerates itself. Underneath it is a bunch of roots, so if I put it in soil, it would grow up as a pot plant. Here is its forebear from last year, which went completely limp in the first cold snap:

I saved a leaf or two and put them in small flower pots. Now outside I have a thriving plant.

Cool stuff. I love plants that are easy to propagate. It makes me feel quite virtuous when I don't have to go out and spend money for new ones.!
