 Honeybee (Apis mellifera) and a sunflower which, after a bit of research, I think is a stiff sunflower (Helianthus pauciflorus ) because of the shape and arrangement of its leaves. What's kind of throwing me is that one of my plant guides doesn't show this species in my county.

The photo below shows the flower from the front - it is at the top of the tallest plant.
