Nice use of DOF, makes a great background. Balances composition - those are great ears, like the hairs bristling off the neck.

I understand the yellow border thing, but I don't agree that it should be here. The picture itself is okay. Its pretty sharp, but the focus is not dead on. The neck at the bottom of the frame is blown out pretty bad. Good shallow DOF too.

Just my opinion, but I think this would have been better if it weren't so tightly cropped and if we could see more of the body of the animal. Sometimes it's good to fill the frame, but this time, I don't think it works as well. Generally, the exposure is good and I like the attentiveness of the animal. 8

border is bad on this.
