 This was actually taken back in the spring - I was going through some old stuff and found a bunch of these lovelies and thought I might be able to cheat just a bit!

Not much post on this - just normal stuff - a little bit of a let down for me ;~)

you're let down by this? really? it's quite lovely; the colors are delish, the composition is too, and the POV & DOF on this are very strong.

Colors are marvelous. Maybe try two different crops to "de-center" this image? Tlemetry suggested cropping negative space...I think it work also cropping off the right side some.

The yellows pop nicely against the dark greens. The dof is exquisite. just enough focus to emphasize the ruffles. The only nit pick is the central composition of the focal point. I would have removed some of the negative space to move that focal plane to a more pleasing location.

I really like the contrast in colours. You've done a good job with the composition, and you have used the depth of field wonderfully. Overall, a really nice image.
