the old & the new...I like the diagonal & the new blooms showing off as the old ones die. sigh...(I'm telling you-it's this darned RAIN!!) what I really find attractive are the little stamen all hooked, and clear, a sharp "ending" to the plant image
anyway, i think Hosta is one of the coolest flowers in the garden, they are beguiling & disarmingly interesting if one gets down & takes a look. Nice one |

| There is a raw feeling of reality in this. The beautiful flower blooms being overtaken by the dieing and dead blooms. Very nice work. |

A much better composition. The good blooms stand out more and give you something to look at. The hooks are more visible as well.
