 This was taken late in the evening, I just hadn't been inspired by anything all day, and I was playing with this, practising getting it to hover, when I wondered if I could hold it steady enough to grab a picture. This is the best effort of about 15 minutes running around behind the helicopter, camera (with flash) in one hand, and control in the other.

You captured it perfectly, I like the stillness of the helicopter & the motion of the propellors (not quite sure how that's spelled :)

LOL! You sound like me trying to photograph my cats. From the thumb it looked like the real thing and I thought - wow - he took a photo from a highrise window. Fun shot - thanks for your efforts! It really paid off, I think.
