 It's been a long time since I submitted, so I may as well net myself my annual sub-5 score and be done with it. I've been meaning to take a new self portrait anyway. Natural, all-window light, taken in my beautiful, sunny bedroom. I can't wait to catch flack about the overexposure near my nose that I so lovingly nurtured, and the bits of noise here and there.

Editing: Yikes, good thing this was advanced. Slight cropping, curves, levels, dodging & burning, channel mixer, blurring, sharpening, adjustment layers, removed some minor but irritating glasses reflections/distortions.

Yeah, during the challenge, I went looking for the one I saw like this before, and was disappointed that it wasn't around.

Great image - lovely and sharp around the eyes and glasses. Great pose, great splash of red in amongst an image that's otherwise almost black and white.

Lighting might be natural but the model looks quite unnatural. I suspect that you overprocessed.
