this image, well, it struck me for its almost abstract nature when I first saw it. The colors are not enhanced, the flower is quite vivid in its own right, & I am surprized at the translucency of the blooms. I see a profile of a face in the bg flower

My other title for this image is "Angel's Breath"

Love how you captured the little friend mounting the summit of his climb. This is very graphic and almost abstract and stunning too.

Lobelia's are sooo tiny...can't believe you made it look so huge.
Lighting seems a bit harsh. Maybe adjust the curves a bit?

I'll agree with what ursula is saying, but add that the overall effect is "painterly" and I do see potential in it.

Interesting flower image. I see the as well. I like how transparent the petals are.

The focus is for the most part on the front edge of the front-most petal, but why? The ant is there, and that's good, to include an ant, but why is she here? I'm trying to explain why this image isn't working for me, to me it looks like a bunch of shapes and colours with no particular reason for being where they are (if that makes sense), and as a whole they do not speak to me. Ouch!! Sorry :)

Hey Ursula! It's ok, I can take it! Honestly! That's why I'm here so I can learn from others. :)

Thanks ~
