Post challenge:
I didn’t do this shot especially for the challenge. The night before the challenge started I was doing some drop images. when I saw this one I immediately thought of the Missing Link and, as there were no specific challenge details, I hoped that an image of a line with a break in it could qualify as a missing link or, in this case, the missing drop.
Thanks loads for the comments and votes. I’m totally thrilled.

Don't care much for the yellow tonality of this. It's a good example of a water drop study otherwise...

Nice photo on a normal occassion, but the link between the droplet and the splash is really stretching it for me. That and the angle of the water in the forground is a bit distracting
