- Burn Tool (Set to Highlights) 4% Go over entire pic several times (set size of brush to max size to make this easier (Hint: Use the ] key)
- Burn Tool (Set to Midtones) 4% Go over entire pic several times
- Unsharpen Mask (aka USM) 274% @ .3 pixels, 0 threshold
-Resize making width 800 pixels like your original posted edit.
- USM again 393% @ .3 pixels, 0 threshold
- Burn Tool (Set to Highlights) 9% go over whole image
* Add Vignette*
- Burn tool (Set to Midtones)(smaller brush (Hint: Use [ key) at 45% move around edges to darken
- Burn tool (Set to Highlights) 45% move around edges to darken.
- USM one more time 393% @ .2 pixels, 0 threshold
Done.
This result is a little better to my eye with regard to retaining some details. It was easier due to my using the larger file to start with.
