Personally I'm not to keen on McDonald's - there is better fast food to be had. But sometimes you just can't beat the convenience, healthy or not. The packaging is interesting - I'm sure it's totally different to anything you would see in South Africa. Sometimes I wonder if the same could be said for the food. I've never heard of apple dippers, must check if they're available here.
Mmmm, I can almost smell the grease :-) I like how the composition of the items tilting this way and that against the car seat really gives the impression of fast food!
Mmmmmm. Yum. You certainly captured the essence of that meal.
My children were born overseas a number of years ago -- before fast food really made it big in Brazil. When we did get a MacDonald's, it was the ultimate reward/bribe/treat. When I got back to the States, I transferred my allegiance to BK. To this day, my greatest secret pleasure is a Whopper, Jr., Value Meal on Saturday afternoon.
McDonalds! oh god I miss BK. (Not a single one in Belgium) and they don't put secret sauce on the burgers here. It's some evil invention of this mad country (apologies to any belgians reading this)
"Gag Bag", ooh, I think I am going to borrow that one! My kids would live off double-cheeseburgers if I let them. From McRaunchies...our little pet name!
Yes, kids love McDonalds. As a joke, I call it, "Gag Bag" and I'm hoping it'll catch with my oldest just so I can hear her beg for a Gag Bag! :) Great perspective.
