 I don't see a lot of these at this time of year because the sun is up before I am :-)

Thanks for all of the comments! For those who asked about the shot, here is a slice of the original:

The only processing was to apply NeatImage to smooth the clouds and a bit of levels adjustment. It was a perfect cloud cover to be able to capture the sun through, lucky!

Almost looks like a stained glass window ot a perfect painting to have on ones wall.....
I love the strong summer rich colors, and the wonderful warm glowing light.

Some of your other sky related shots caught my eye before i popped in here. I need to go back.

This is GORGEOUS! The reds and golds are amazing. I love that there was enough streaming cloud cover for you to get the shape of the sun as well. It's beautiful!
