 Day 9 of 30 Pets

This guy is (I think) a Single Yellow-Headed Amazon. He is a shelter resident as a result of a cruelty case. Long story, but he stays with us till a court decides whether or not his owner can have him back. He's in the Big Boss's office and has relaxed enough to start talking a bit. He also got company in the form of an African Grey who is also a talker. Entertaining office to hang out in these days :-)

Had to use the flash so lighting is a little harsher than I'd like.

PP - converted from RAW, rotated, cropped, burnt out background, increased contrast and saturation, dodged/burnt bird a bit, resized, sharpened.

Gorgeous shot, incredible detail in the feathers! He looks great against the black background. Don't you just hate some humans?
