Nice colors, looks like it would be peaceful & relaxing to sit by & enjoy the sounds of running water. |

Very nice! I like the composition, and on a hot day like this it makes me want to cool myself at the fountain. |

Lovely contrast of the limpid water against the texture of the stone in the fountain. Well seen and captured. |

It almost looks like a dragon's mouth, Barbara... lovely water pouring and great light. |

Looks like a very sculptural piece. I like that it's in terracotta, not too common, I suppose. |

I love running water, and where I work there is a recognition that fountains and the like can be the veins of a city
I love this shot simply because you have captured the water beautifully without turning it 'soft' and the fountain itself is so strange, almost like the tongue of a mythical creature
Absolutely beautiful |

That's so cool that you are discovering so much, I am too, I notice things day to day that I would have normally passed by. |

You've got cool fountains in Phoenix :-) I love the perspective on this shot, and the cool running water over the hot terra cotta (or whatever the thing is made of)! Makes me wonder just what kind of animal this is supposed to be... so I choose a cat |

I like how you composed this, with the water "moving" toward the bottom right. The off-centeredness of it is pleasing.
Isn't that a nice thing about these side challenges? They really do make us look at things differently. The first one I did was 30 days of self-portraits back in April of 2006 and it was literally a life-changing experience for me. |
