 A mother and three cubs came right up to the glassed viewing area where I happily shot them - pardon the pun - for 20 minutes. Got some great images.

I do have nightmares that lions and tigers are on the loose just outside my house or in other locations. Maybe like Neil Diamond's CRUNCHY GRANOLA SUITE: "Like a man with a tiger outside his gate, not only couldn't relax but he couldn't relate". I have the same dream with snakes. Maybe it's where I have travelled.

EDIT: I wanted a fairly sharp and contrasty image. I think my lens nailed the sharpness. Edit was very basic...levels, curves, contrast, USM...that sort of thing.

PREDICTION: After my dichotomy entry, who knows...6.5XXX???

Yes, I guess we all fear that. I worry about it on a daily basis. Siegfried and Roy live right up the street so, it could happen! It's a totally awesome photo but for the challenge...I think it's pushing it.

Fantastic image of this cat - the lighting and details are so well captured. It is amazing how gentle and regal these cats look when not devouring their prey...
