This is a re-shoot of a photo I took last summer. Hummingbird Centre is a theatre in downtown Toronto where most high-profile ballet performances take place.

I was about 70 feet away from the main entrance of the theatre, from this point I took a picture of the outermost corner where the name of the theatre appears. I framed it in such a way that it is diagonal across the frame and the upper portion of the building shows up as well as the condo building across the street behind it. The tilt is intentional to blend with the diagonal foregound. The three angles created by the three buildings produce some form of pattern. I wanted a clear blue sky and the sky on the day I took this photo couldn't be more perfect.

Shot in raw mode, converted to TIFF, then Saved for Web in JPG.

Post processing: Cropped, resized, curves, color adjustment, USM, added border.

Not a bad shot, but doesn't make me think 'point of view'.

Love the perspective here. Colours are great too. Is this Toronto? Like your photo a lot.

Very effectively composed image. I love the way the buildings fan out in progression. I feel the lighting could be better as the two far buildings in the bg appear to be in shadow with the nearest in full sunlight. Also, the image appears a bit dark on my monitor.

well done for the challenge...I don't recall a sunny day in TO lately the weather has been awful. You must have been at the right place at the right time to capture the blue sky...well done
