 We arrived at our campsite in Yosemite shortly after 11pm and had time to kill before our friends arrived with the tents! Although it was pitch black I could make out something mountain like through the trees, so I stuck the camera on a very long shutter speed and hoped I might capture some detail! This was the best I got :o)

When we woke in the morning I was blown away by our view...I have to return here some day...it's awesome!

This is kind of dark, but still a very nice image. I know you can't exactly just go back there, but try a longer shutter speed or light up the trees with a very low power flash to try and gain some detail on the trees. I suppose you could also try and boost the bright in post too, haha. Great shot though.
