Allium L. – wild onion

Found four species of wild onion/leek listed for Wisconsin. My hunch is:
that it is a nodding onion. I was delighted to find it, regardless of low fading light, hand held camera shake. Basically a specimen picture.
Edit:
LR - convert; resize; sharpen.
CS3 - lab color; sharpen; save.

Allium burdickii (Hanes) A.G. Jones – narrowleaf wild leek (aka Allium tricoccum - wild leek)

Allium canadense var. canadense
meadow garlic

Allium cernuum Roth
nodding onion

Allium stellatum
Prairie onion; autumn onion

Nice DOF. This would probably be more effective if there was a tighter crop on both sides.

Ahhhh - this is a beauty! Wonderful color and Dof!

I think you would have more impact if it filled the frame more. Try cropping off the sides. I feel there is to much negative space on both sides for a central subject.

Oh and I love the lighting and focus on this!

Nice woodsy feel to it- the simplicity makes this a striking image !
Thanks for the tip on identifying wild flowers :)
