 In the last week I've had one invite from my boss's boss to play golf (which I couldn't accept due to impending work deadlines), and two tee times with my father-in-law (that were both canceled due to weather and other circumstances). I've been ready on each occasion as, like a boyscout, I'm always prepared as my sticks are "always at the ready" in the trunk of my car.

I get to play very little these days and with all of the recently missed opportunities I'm really jonesing to play. I'm not sure if taking this pic is really going to help the situation :)

Man I never would have had you down as a golfer...The good news is if you do make it to the UK there is a course but two miles from my house which can beckon you (although given the weather in the UK dont bank on it)

Dude, you're blowing off your boss's boss AND your father-in-law? Whom are you going to turn down next, Darth Vader? :) (I'm kidding. Maybe your father-in-law and your boss's boss are both pussycats. MY father in law -- come to think of it, I think he IS Darth Vader.)

My son, at the ripe old age of 5, has been playing golf (albeit it a slightly modified form) for two years. His clubs are often staples of our mini-van (along with his two football helmets, shoulder pads, football tee, jersey, baseball bats, baseball helmets, assorted footballs, baseballs and wiffle balls -- we are rolling sports store, I tell you) and loves to go to the driving range. He can drive it about 60 yards consistently, and has driven it 70 to 75 on several occasions. You always have to be ready, because always is a perfect time to golf!
