 I found a Thistle plant as we were waiting for the fire works to start in Park City, Utah on July 4th. It buds, flowers, and seed pods on it. And lots of bees. So here is a bud. Poor thing was not in a very scenic part of town, so the background was not too good.

I'm beginning to love thistle more and more. This is nice. Could use a bit sharper focus but still nice.

Nice soft image w/ muted colors and the BG is nice, the light seems to border the flower on the sides. Nice image.
