| The composition is well done. Gives the viewer a sense of the environment these were captured in. The lighting is a bit harsh and some of the details on the pads themselves are lost. Flowers are beautifully focused. |

The little splashes of color from the flowers really makes this image pop for me. Lovely!

| Even though the focus is on the lily pads and flowers, one of the things I like about this photo is the water behind the group of flowers, as it gives a nice separation from the lilies and the bank in the background. That may sound odd, but I think it adds to the composition and sets off the lily pads favorably. |

| Did you use a polarizing filter here? I suspect not, and I suspect had you done so you'd have a whole other level on this serene image. |
