Photographed on the way to Mt. Baker Sunday. The atmosphere was a mixture of fog and soft light. The trees lining the road were dripping in moss and when I saw this grouping, I had to stop to photograph it. It is cropped tight from the original image but I think this crop works. In addition to cropping, I worked on the contrast and enhanced the saturation a little.

I love this, nearly as much as the other moss image. I think you are so blessed with a wonderful eye, warm heart, and a sence of belonging, to have the talent to take such breathtaking images.....

THis shot is great- its wonderfully primeval, it evokes J.R.R. Tolkien type imagery. incredible texture! great shot

Hi Paul. My moss looks a lot like yours. The difference is I cropped it tightly. In fact, so tightly that the image is too small to offer as a print (it got rejected). It looks great as a smally 4 x 5 print but really bad any larger. Moss facinates me since I came from a very arid climate - Utah - where this scene would never be found.
