You should've done this photo without the clear pieces. The white ones look great. I love the way they look. The clear ones are reflecting all kinds of stray light and are out of focus.But the white ones have a very peaceful surreal look to them and are well lit and well captured.

You need to be closer in and a hand on the piece as if moving to give the POV from the check piece.

I get the Title, but the lighting doesn't do the Title justice.... Needs a lot more light. :( Plus the pieces are in a random position, with neither King in danger (as the title suggests).

Lighting is nice, but the POV doesn't really create a more interesting shot than normal.
