Shutter: 1/50

The back steps to the patio at my grandfather's former house, shot from down the slope a few feet.

You almost always see the tops of the steps, even when climbing them.

Cropped a little, modest tone curve, sharpening.

image feels overexposed and the blurred foreground is distracting. i love the moss though!

Botton of the photo is exposed pretty well. Top of the photo is blown out. Personally I'd have left the bottom a bit darker and made the top just a little bit brighter than normal. I feel that the top here is substantially more exposed than "normal"

The steps and fence look terrific and hit hard when the picture comes up. Unfortunately, the washed out background takes alot away from this shot. If it's possible to shoot this again when the sun is in position to light things more evenly, it could be great. Good luch with this pic.

I think I might have cropped out the railing on the left so it didn't distract from the steps, and removed the vertical plant in the foreground.

Very nice shot, but I think black border is not working very good

Wow, an excellent subject but the background is wahed out. Come back here at different times of the day and you'ss have a beautiful shot.

These steps are full of texture, but I found both the cluttered foreground and the overexposed background quite distracting

An attempt at unique POV - from the ground... but I just can't say it works for this one... the background is a little too chaotic and boring - the POV emphasizes this.

I like the angular composition here, but the twigs in the foreground are a bit distracting.
