 Full moon, camera on a table on the beach. I didn't see the boy before staying there (too dark), but I said "thanks".

IrfanView helped me to convert the RAW, to rotate, crop the image, correct the contrast. Used NeatImage and after this I resized and sharpened with IrfanView.

very different night capture. love the moon in front of the cloud & its reflection. I am still trying to learn night exposures.

Nicely done, shame the figure couldn't stant out a tiiiny bit more, if you had changed the title I would have taken longer to notice it was a person.

I have a photo that is similar to this in some aspects and it always drives me nutts when people pick it as their favorite of mine. Yours looks like it is the sun rather than the moon and that the exposure is very dark because of that. I may be wrong, but the slight cloud formation leads to me to see it this way. What I am not seeing on this picture is a good anchor point. My eyes are bouncing from the light in the sky to the bright light on the water and with that I feel as though my retinas are burning. Overall I can't say that I am overly impressed or wowed by the photo so I am leaving it with a 5.
