Taken at Big Meadow in the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. The fawns were born about a month ago, and are growing so fast. We go up almost every weekend to try to get shots of them before they get much older. They're already getting very independent!

nice shot, good DOF and sharpness, a bit too pale overall. the border doesn't help the image

Shoehorn! How does this fit into weekend? I don't know...DNMC=1

edit;
Looking at the photo and the title, I can loosely see how this fit your weekend. I can read it as the deer are saying that you were sneaking up on them and in turn that would mean you snuck up on some deer tot photograph them this weekend.

Overall the photo is delightful. The lighting seems a bit off to me. Almost as if it is missing some contrast. The Sharpness seems more centered on the hind of the mother then on her face.

Without taking DNMC into consideration I would have probably voted this a 6 because of the sharpness and lighting. Adding the fact that the title didn't convey the challenge theme to me very well, I will up my original DNMC=1 to a 5, but will not give the full 6 because I think your title could have done better.

Very flat lighting and the deer and grass keeps the subject from popping out. Maybe a little saturation or use of a polarizer would help
