yup. I did. This is Maggie, our most recent pet rescue. I found her walking down the middle of a major street in central Phoenix (Indian School Road) at rush hour, looking rather confused. She had a collar, but no tags or chip, and I never did find her owner. She is a bundle of energy - and eventually I will post one of her jumps. She recently went over our 6 ft wall (from a sitting position) because my husband was on the other side of it, and she was looking for him.

I love the line of her ears in this shot, she looks so alert and intense! Great looking dog :-)

You seem to be a fellow "Zoni". I saw your cactus shot with the two birds in the 50 day thread and thought - that looks familiar! Nowhere else are there saguaros.

She is fun. Crazy too. She keeps the other hopping. She goes over, around, and under them at the speed of light. We have 2 Golden Retrievers, a pug (lost his brother last month), and a pot belly pig. Right now, I also have my daughter's dog with us, a beagle-hound mix. They are a noisy bunch.
I'm surprised you can't hear them from where you are. I had noticed, a while back, that you were here - maybe the Where I Live series.

Is there a green-eye reduction tool anywhere? I saw that - yes, I did use a flash - but I figured that at least it doesn't look as spooky as red eyes. :-)

Pet rescue is great, good for you. We are on our second rescued Sheltie.

Ditto the comment about the green eyes. Tough to avoid with a flash you can't point anywhere other than straight ahead tho.

I love the face on this one. You need to watch the green eye though, which is the dog equivalent of red eye. Not sure if it would look evil if you tried to do green eye reduction. did you use flash? a bit of side lighting from another flash might have reduced the problem. Still, she is precious. You are doing a wonderful service by doing the pet rescue.
