Wow - I am truly disappointed for you. I though this was one of the top 3 for sure! Fortunately, it did make the ranking as your top - so far! I love the colors, the POV and framing. I think you would do well to consider making it available on DPCprints. Keep on snapping!

Thanks for all the comments and encouragement. I had some fun conceiving and taking this shot. To settle some open questions...the red rose was added because the shot needed some color and another element - a rose was more romantic than my old fuzzy slipper.

The husband did come home.

As for the ugly feet, my fault entirely. I refused to let the model get a pedicure. If you give into all their "diva" tendencies you've lost the battle!

I really liked this picture. One of my favorites in this challege. Creative point of view, simple, good colors and pleasing and interesting to look at. At 54 I think its way underated.

Very clever and a really nice photo. I like the way the only bright color is the flower. And the shadow at the front of the photo puts emphasis on the fact that you are seeing from under the bed.

Makes me wonder about the person walking by, where the feet have been, why they're walking over/by/around the flower, and why someone is under the bed. ;-)

Well thought out and executed. Only nit is perhaps the feet relative to the seam in the wall. But I like the '"action pose". I'm more mixed about the meaning of the inclusion of the flower, but it does work aesthetically.

The feet need to be a little more photographic. Clean up the arteries showing and clean up the feet. The toenails, etc. I like it, but you need to get photographic feet.

amazing...I almost did the same scene from the other side of the car. the problem was too much snow. I was also in barefeet, same type of stance . Your shot shows an interesting POV

Great idea! Love the perspective. What is the red thing though? Is it a flower?

Your chances of "getting lucky" will probably improve if you come out from under there! :)

Excellent idea, on one hand I'm thinking that the flower isn't a good addition, but then I think it's good that there is something else there other than just the feet. 8

Well thought out. The perspective fits the challenge. Also good use of natural framing.
