NOT a setup! I really did replace the kitchen faucet. And Chad, our two year old had to be close at hand.

Really cool father son interactive shot that always puts a smile on my face. Love the wide angle too.

Ok, time for me to eat a little crow and for a confession.

When I voted on this image, i didn't care for it, and you can tell that by my comment during voting. Amazing how our tastes change though and something that I didn't like before I can appreciate now. This is a great photo and I have much respect for the PP. Sorry I couldn't see that during the voting....

One of the classic DPC shots, in my mind. Love it for the humor and for the reality. There is some sort of mad art in daily life...

Everything about this shot is spot on. First, I love the surprise - I noticed you right away, but then I see your son lying next to you. The harsh lighting reflects the less-than-glamorous moment, as does your shirt riding up a bit. But hey, not everything in life is gorgeous models and stunning lanscapes. :)

OMG. . .you are my hero! What a great dad you are -- and this is the cutest photo ever! It makes me feel good to look at it! Partly cuz it's so sweet. . .and the rest because that's your kitchen and not mine this time :)

I would have loved to see the whole foot in there. there is a great line his leg makes that leads you to the cute pair but its cuttoff and that messed up the flow to me. cute shot though, very real

Definitely high on the cute factor. :) For advanced editing, the lighting should have been shored up a bit.

Here is another shot ruined by post processing. Shame because it had potential. This is where good photos go bad.

Ah ! that looks really wodnerful and fits the theme of the challenge so well. The whites appear to be blown out at places but iverall a sharp crisp and well balanced image
