 During the weekend, I was walking along the coast in Salthill, Galway. I would normally go swimming myself. The weather was not cooperating but there were a few brave souls leaping from the platform to the cold, rough waters.

Steps are:
* Converted from RAW
* Cropped to show the key elements of the photo (height of the platform, water, and the woman looking at the waters).
* Desaturated since the colour of the platform is bright yellow.
* Unsharp Mask
* Resized

The lighting is very blah but, I like the use of diagonal lines in the picture

How does this fit into your weekend? Did you go swimming? Did you go the beach or do you just live there? Is that you on top of the diving board? I see a picture that is SHOEHORNED! DNMC=1

This is one of those tough ones that I looked at when I voted DNMC. I can't tell from the photo or title if this is something you did over the weekend. I don't know if you had to travel here, or if you live here. I don't know if you were on top of the tower, or if you just caught a picture of someone there. What I do know is that I see a tower with someone up there and the words look before you leap which you have copied to make your title.

I could have seen the theme if the title had said, looked before I lept or something like that, but I still just can't fit it into the challenge.

Other then that I like the photo as far as the subject and the BW but I don't like the woman being in color. I think a bit more contrast could help this as well.
