 This is Mommakat. We lost her this morning. She adopted us, and was one of our "outside kitties." She was apparently very old. Our neighbor used to feed her, and when they moved, she moved to our yard. We have been feeding her for a couple of years now. In the last week or so, she has started to look weaker, and she let us pet her for the first time ever. We were going to take her to the vet this morning to get checked out, but when we woke up, she was gone. :( We miss her so much.

Ohhh, so sad for you... What a beautiful girl! Lucky MommaKat to have had loving humans to take care of her for the time you had with her. Since I've moved to a rural location a year ago I've been taking care of lots of 'outside kitties' too, and it breaks my heart to lose them :-(
