This is a very neat idea. My eye though, is drawn to the black triange. I wish you'd excluded it.

I like the blur a lot! There are lots of elements that detract from the train, but I do enjoy exploring the photo, too. That dark triangle in the foreground gets a lot of attention.

A great angle on the old light-trails trick. The length of the trail is ideal for suggesting a ghost train has just passed through. The snow lifts the picture nicely, too.

Excellent effect. I'm not sure if you could do anything about the bright lights on the left. They distract a little.

I like the idea, and the excellent choice of shutter speed to make the train a "ghost," but I think the whole photo could be darker to emphasize the night aspect. Best would have been less exposure in the camera, but lacking that some work on the levels or curves could have cut the brightnesst.

This is not a very photogenic area to take a photogrphaph, in fact it is pretty ugly. But through the effect of the train and the red and white color motion mix you have changed all that and created something really worth looking at.

Technical: fits the challenge. Exposure lighting composition focus all good.

Personal: Very nicely done! Great sense of mood.

Nice idea! I''m not sure I like the dark object in the foreground.
