 I've been waitinn for the minute when I could catch this kind of moment between my sister and our (her) cat. I think I finally got it.
I thought about entering a different kind of photo, a more 'audience pleasing' one, but I just cant do that.

Agree with Don, this is a great shot, lots of emotion and feeling here. From a technical standpoint, the bright light on her hand and the cat tends to take away from the real subject here which is the girl. I like the vignetting that you've done to enhance her.
