 Finally got around to my planting - a little late, but the salvia ought to make it. The bright pink and green of the foreground stem against the muted pink and green of the background pleased me. I like the way the DOF creates the impression of a reflection, rather than 2 stems.

Cropped, adjusted brightness and levels, sharpen, resize and save.

I have some of these. They are hard to photograph, because they are never still. This is very pretty. I like the graduated background. Too bad it's basic so you couldn't clone out the little green spot in the lower right corner.
