 My cousin who races in triathlons asked me if I would shoot photos of him and the foundation he raises money for. I had no credentials when the day started. My cousin's cab never came and he almost missed the race. He said just walk in like you own the place and wear some of my stuff to look official and handed me a windbreaker and beanie.So I went to the media booth and said I was supposed to shoot for the "Challenged Athletes Foundation, but our cab was late and I wasn't sure who to contact." mostly true, but I knew my name was on no list and I don't think I had a secured pass. The lady got on the phone and said what I had told her, then asked if I wanted a press kit and here was my all access media pass. "But you better hurry, you almost missed the private boat for the media to go shoot the start of the race. I got on a private boat with 9 other people to shoot the start of the Race from Alcatraz, I also had access anywhere I wanted to go including the Transitions area and at the finish line. :)


This same message is in each photo because you can't just put one comment for a portfolio section.
