I went to the hospital to take pictures of one of my friends new born and stepped outside and could see the moon between the arms of this old Saguaro catus outside the hospital. The moon was so bright and this is the best picture out of the many that the glare was not over powering the cactus.

The pic is in B/W. I used a photo filter of 69% in emerald green under adjustments to the whole picture. This is so I could cut down on the glare of the awfully bright moon. I do not have filters to my camera yet.

This is just a little bit soft. I think I'm missing the point of the composition.

Is this Mr D with his F717 on IR? Anyway - very nice surreal vibe to this and the stars coming through help to add depth.

Cool, almost unreal shot. I think if you stood further away from the cactus, the glow would spread even more around it. It feels a bit tight.

A good idea, but doesn't quite work for me - too grey. I don't know how you could have made it any better.

Very unique view of this plant (one of my favorite plants!) The light behind works well, and your vantage point for the shot works very well to create interest and drama. For some reason, it doesn't look as clear as it should/could to me, but still--a wonderfully interesting image. 7

I'm not sure what to make of the green tint to everything. Good composition and lighting.
