Challenge: Where's Waldo? III (Advanced Editing V)
Camera: Canon EOS-20D
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 USM
Location: Scholls, OR
Date: Jun 24, 2007
Aperture: 5.0

Shutter: 1/50
Date Uploaded: Jun 24, 2007

I pass this filbert orchard every day on my way to work. I've been thinking about stopping to shoot some images for quite a while now. This challenge was a good excuse to finally go do it. My son played the part of Waldo for me. I wish it had been more overcast though.

I like how you caught the way the branches form an arch roofed path.

Very well done.

Reminds me of the avocado orchards back home! :) Nice hide!

Well done! I absolutely love the composition, and the subtle colors and hues of green and brown are enchanting.

Interesting space, well captured and presented. Waldo was easy to find, but that doesn't really matter to me (I'm looking for interesting images here, not Waldo). This looks like the kind of place someone goes to get away from things, but it looks very purposeful, planted, planned, with all the trees in nice rows. I might have tried to eek a bit more contrast out of this image, to the brights were a bit brighter and the darks a bit darker, but generally it works well for me.

Good composition, and well done with what was probably a tricky exposure situation.

Nicely hidden and a super composition, love the natural archway of the trees and the almost but not quite duplication of each tree in itself

sorry, but this was easy, third tree back on the left.

Really like the composition and the leading lines. I like the hidden waldo. I would have IMO brought up the hands so it would have been a bit harder to find him. Nice work.
