I love the OOF boat and how it looks like a clone of the foreground boat with a mast attached. it's a very artistic picture, and doesn't provide any of the cliche things people expect from a boat on the water picture. only weirdos like me are going to like it. :D
ah... hadn't noticed the title. I think that opens it up to more people. Nicely done. |

the title is nice but i wish i had not seen it, as it filtered my thoughts.
for me ... ooops read title again i thought ir read "waiting for me" but your title now rocks and pretty much sums up my thoughts :)

Just spotted this image in the reaction club thread. I'm not an official reaction club person, but I thought I'd leave a post anyway. :)
The offset horizon is quite distracting for me, particularly as it's made even more obvious by the background mast. The colours are nice and rich, but the subject seems to lack something in interest. It might have been better with the focus point at the middle or nose of the boat, giving a wider depth of field, and some more in-focus interest. As it is, my eye wants to wander through the photo, and look at something interesting, but it's all out of focus. Perhaps if the main boat was filling more of the frame. Hopefully I've managed to say something constructive.
