a classic NYC shot! I used to love to hang by the water during lunch when I worked on Wall St. It was always a great place to go & clear the head, despite being in a suit! Statetn Island Ferry another great spot..
Iliked this a lot during the challenge, gave it a 7, I didn't notice anyone else in the frame (still don't actually) I loved the clever idea re: POV, and the contrast btw the heavy metal beams and the image itself. I guess on a personal note, it must have also caused a few twangs.

Spying is great for photos like this, you never know when the oppurtunity will strike and you'll find the perfect shot.

Talk about picky. This is a great shot, but the excess metal at the bottom, and out-of-focus metal (what would one expect it to be?) at the top detract. Hesitantly, I suggest that this may have been better with 1/3 metal, 1/3 subject and 1/3 metal at bottom.
